Baha Cruisers began with a crew of only three (of which 2 were family members). Over the years they developed many designs, all of which were rooted from the original 31 hull design. Today, that same basic design lives on in many of Baha's hardtop fishing boats, but the 3-man crew has grown into as many as 100 employees.
Today, Baha Cruisers builds a dozen or so current models in nearly every category of powerboat. Whether it is fishing in our enclosed hardtop fishing boats, walkarounds, or family cruising in the Renaissance deck boat, or fishing big water in the "King Cats" power catamarans, Baha has something to offer almost everyone who is into powerboating.
Now approaching their 30th year, the Baha Cruisers name has proven it can stand the test of time. Now into its second and even third generations, it is the epitome of a "family" owned and operated business. Decisions are not made by a corporate board made up of people far away who meet a few times a year, they are made every day by hands on owner managers who have grown up in the boating industry, and understand how to build boats.
Baha Cruiser are not fancy, and are generally no frills. Their hulls are rugged and built to last. They use isothalic fade resistant gelcoat, and vinylester barrier coats to prevent blisters. Their fiberglass stringers and transoms cored with Greenwood XL panel (Lifetime Warranty) offer you a hull built to take a pounding day in and day out.
Though Baha's founder, Mr. Nall has retired, the family presence is as strong as ever. Son Kenneth Nall, and Granddaughter Cheryl Byrd make up the management team that now carries the torch. Baha's three generations of family management are well aware of the company's humble beginnings. They are well aware of how the ups and downs of the economy have affected the company's growth during its 27 year history. They attribute the growth and longevity of the company to the basic principle it was founded upon: Build a quality product, at a reasonable price, to offer the best total value available. Baha's management team believes that adhering to that principle is what has sustained the company in the past, and is what will allow the company to grow in the future and provide consumers with quality boats they can not just use, but enjoy for many, many, years.
